Anybody else here got the email from NVC requiring to fill up the DS-260 online form?

My husband called NVC 2 weeks ago and was told that they received our AOS and IV packages last August 14 and will be processed for 20 business days.

Just this morning, we received an email asking us to fill up the DS-260 since DS-230 has been considered obsolete effective September 1, 2013.

I am actually worried about the additional processing times they would need to review our case again.

Anybody here with the same case as ours?

Hi! I received my Packet 4 last Sept 10. I'll have my interview on Oct 16.

When I received the email last Sept 6, I still filled up the DS260 online. Later that day, my husband called NVC and was informed that we're case complete.

Well, just to be sure I would still bring the print out of the DS-260. They will have it in their system anyway.

DS-230 is obsolete. what you do is search the ds-260 online form then you can log in using your Case Number and your Invoice I.D. number then click the edit/view then filled-up the form. If the CEAC is for other person after clicking the edit/view in the left side you can click the Get Started . after that you can print it..

That's what we do. My daughter interview schedule with his 4 year old son was scheduled last week Sept. 5 but because she don't have the DS-260 the interviewer advice her to reschedule their interview. In short after she filled up the DS-260 she called right away the embassy and their scheduled was yesterday September 12 and the visa for his 4 year old son was approved. Later or sooner they will be here in USA..
