I'm with you hpereira. I remember watching July/August filers and thinking it must stink to be the July filer that wasnt approved yet when the August approvals started to trickle in... and now here we are and October filers are starting to get approved. Not that I am not happy for them and everyone else that got thiers already no matter when they filed, but yes the wait is exahusting.

Lets cross our fingers tight and hope that this is our week! star_smile.gif

I hear you Little G. I too am happy for everyone who got approved as this process is stressfull for everyone that goes through it. But I also want to get approved soon so i can join the party lol . dancin5hr.gif

until then all i can do is wait and pray.

June 17, 2010: Arrived for second in-person meeting and start of travel together to other areas of China!

September 1, 2010: Switched course from K1 to CR-1
December 8, 2010: Wedding date set; it will be on February 18, 2011!
February 9, 2011: Depart for China
February 11, 2011: Registered for marriage in Wuhan, officially married!!!
February 18, 2011: Wedding ceremony in Shiyan!!!
April 22, 2011: Mailed I-130 to Chicago
April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

I have not heard anything since my transfer from VSC to CSC either. But, if this makes anyone feel better, there are good number of people from July and August who still have not been approved. I am not sure what the reasons are for certain cases taking longer. But, may be background checks are causing these delays...especially if you have a very common last name.

I just got this email:

"On January 27, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I am super excited!!

I have not heard anything since my transfer from VSC to CSC either. But, if this makes anyone feel better, there are good number of people from July and August who still have not been approved. I am not sure what the reasons are for certain cases taking longer. But, may be background checks are causing these delays...especially if you have a very common last name.

When was her Biometrics done and when was she transferred from VSC to California? Those dates are important to keep the list complete.
