Was Oahu on another island? Coz my fiance lives in Kailua. Was that too far? I want to meet friends when I get at the island! ( Hopefully I can fly out by October, fingerscrossed!)

When are you planning on hosting this meet and greet? Fiancee and I are thinking of going out to Hawaii in mid-late Oct for honeymoon (not sure how the weather is at that time, but hoping for the best)

Kailua is on Oahu! It is on the East side. Beautiful area!

We are just getting some ideas now...maybe a pot luck picnic of some sort...

Make sure and get some local chicken adobo and let the Pinays try it. It's kinda different there from the PI style of adobo. Oh and they gotta try some poi, too! ;)
