Hello! Here I am again, going to ask more questions. This time it is regarding on Setting up an Appointment online.

Few weeks ago, I have registered at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/ (https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/). After I have registered my email address flor******@ymail.com, I never did anything with it, I was even afraid to click the Schedule appointment button. Last Thursday, around 2:13 pm, I paid the K1 visa fee at BPI. I waited till 8-9 pm to check and sign in my account, then I started the steps on setting up an appointment for interview. After choosing my visa class the next step was Passport details, this is where I encountered a problem, after I have input all the details of my passport and click save, the error message appear, it says " An applicant with this information already exists whole email starts "ja****flor****" ". The email is exactly the same with my another email address but I never registered that email address, except the email address I am using (flor******@ymail.com) now to set up an appointment. Weird! Because I have tried to confirm if the email does exist using forgot password (wherein you have to enter your registered email address so they could send the temporary password to your email) but it only says that the email ja*********@yaho.com was not found. So it means the email is not registered at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/, right? I even check the spam and the inbox of the email address but there's nothing to indicate it is registered at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/. So why is it I that got this error? Any vjers here who have experienced the same? How did you resolve the problem? What to do?crying.gif :(

I have already sent them an email using Provide Feedback. Now I am still awaiting for their response.

This is my 3rd time posting this topic, the previous thread was deleted because the picture I attached contains personal information.

I am thinking to just set up an appointment through call center representative.

I took a screen shot of the error.

the email in your profile is what the embassy sees, and where your interview appoinment verification letter will go so it NEEDS to be correct.,I believe you can change it,,,

just as you would your phone number or address,,,there should be an edit button somewhere,, I would get this corrected,,because if you call a representative and they set an appointment for you,

like I said they will send it to the address in your profile,,,,so correct your profile first and then continue,,I recommend sceduling online....much easier

I agree with the others, I would get a new email account setup and then change your email for your USEM account to the new email.

I have one random thought, may your fiancé have setup an account for you also?

My fiancee ran into that problem last night. I tried to create a new account and it gave me the error message that it already existed for her email address. Resetting the password was the only way we could get it to work. Why you are encountering this is strange.

Hello, thanks for the reply, but I don't know how am I going to correct it. I didn't see anywhere I could edit my profile. I tried logging in the email address but its not even register 'cause when I tried to reset the password it says the email address is not found.

Hello! Thank you for the reply. This problem I am experiencing is really weird. First of all, I've already registered once using my email address flor*****@ymail.com. I can't reset the password for jaz******@yahoo.com because when I put the email address inside the box it only says the email address is not found. So I really don't know what to do anymore.

Hi Hank! Thank you for the reply. So it is ok to register as a new user? Should I try to use the jaz*******@yaahoo.com, since its not register or found yet according to reset password option. My fiance haven't set up an account. He would have told me if he did after I told him about the problem. :(

Strange that the field for the email address that should be automatically filled, is filled with the email address (flor*******@ymail.com) I use to log-in and have used to register, NOT jaz*******@yahoo.com

I will tell you a story. I created an account, had a mix up on some info, tried to get it fixed through the "proper channels", got tired of waiting, created a new account using a different email address and now.... well my wife is here in the USA. That is my story... and I am sticking to it.

Okay, this is making me nervous. I just created a new account using jaz*******@yahoo.com. Thank you so much for all the reply. smile.png

Thank you so much Hank! I was able to schedule my appointment just now.

Thank you everyone for the reply. I appreciate it so much. I can't imagine what will happen to me without vjers who are there to reply and share information they know, and of course to this website, I am really very grateful.
