Ok I have a few questions

1. Is there such a thing as sending to much evidence --- Like do I send an entire year of phone records--- bank records of transactions in the d.r.

2. I know I am not to the point yet for sponsorship, but I work under the table.... $200.00 a week ... Food stamps. My mother is going to sponsor him, but will I be denied because I get food stamps for me and my child. That is the only type of benefits I apply for and ask for.

3. I am not sure how to answer some of the information on the I 129 form. I've spoken to a lawyer, she wants $3000.00 to help..... That's crazy!!!

4. I have his original birth certificate from 1985..... Do I need a current one, I have read documents must be 60 days old

5. Can someone please tell me all the fee's associated with the k-1 visa and afterwards...... My boyfriend and I want to make sure we are saving and have enough for all the changes and new forms once he arrives.

Of course you can do all the things on your own. You don't need a lawyer. The beneficiarys birth certificate can be the original, but you will have to translate it before your interview at the embassy. Let me know if you have any other questions. I will be glad to help.
