CFO Experience

As mentioned on the recent post I received my Visa on Thursday (22 August). Immediately I decided to get my CFO seminar because 26 of August was a holiday.

Theresa helped me to get a spot on the 1st session with no sweat. hahahaha.

2:30am I planned to leave early from Angeles City, unfortunately a friend who supposedly driving for me didn't wake up on time. I decided to get a bus ride from Dau to Pasay. Luckily there was a wifi at the bus (Five Star). I was able to checked with Theresa what was going on at the CFO bldg. By the way I was to anxious, I didn't able to go to sleep. I was wide awake!

4:00am I left Dau.

6:00am I went out of the bus decided to drop my luggage at the hotel. Yes I hauled off my 1 checked-in and 1 hand carry luggage.

6:18am I arrived at the CFO bldg. and fall in line with Theresa, she was on the 12th line. I noticed that all the Fiancee's and Spousal were falling in line at the left ramp where the upper left door entrance was. While there were falling in line down below too and going inside at the middle door (entrance door).

6:40am While waiting for the office to open, I suddenly realized that my visa/passport wasn't with me. I forgot to go to my friend to collect it. I request from him to drop it where I was. He just came at the right time when it was my turn to approach the reception. Wow. God is really amazing! He makes wonders and miracle!

Requirements were checked. The lady was so nice, helped me to take my passport out of the plastic. Given an ID to wear and was told to proceed at 3rd floor (went up through the stair case, it was dark but I got to see fafa Piolo at 2nd floor... there was a life size photo of him hahahaha).

At the 3rd floor we fall in line and was given a form to fill it up, there was some table and chairs around so no worry. After filling up the form went back to the counter for checking. (Make sure you understand each questions and answered them correctly, unfilled form put N/A if not applicable or NONE). Do not leave any spaces BLANK. After verification, picture was taken and was told to eat our breakfast first and be back at 8:30am.

Theresa and I observed and had the same impression. There were applicants who don't know how to fill up the form. Even ask her help to answer all the questions. The questions are you self BIO information and as well you Fiance. But I have to admit not all of us are fortunate to get a proper education and exposure and understand how things work.

8:00am I lost track of the time so I did not realized it was already 8:00am, we decided to take "PADYAK" a pedi-cab ride or a bicycle ride at McDonalds.

8:30am We were back at the 3rd floor and the Guidance Counselor checked the attendance and conducted an One on One interview while waiting for 9:00am.

9:00am The orientation started, we were group into 3 and made some discussions (sorry I don't know the proper word for it hahaha). After that there was an interaction between the GC and the group leader and the rest of us. (we were 14).

OVERALL, the orientation was excellent. It went smoothly. For me as long you are confident you will never go wrong.

12:00pm the One on One interview started and I was asked only 2 questions (1st how did we met and about the the divorce). It could have been shorter if I don't talked to much hahahaha).

We took our lunch and took our time to rest and afterwards we went back to the CFO Bldg. at the Releasing Area. and waited till 4pm =(. The Guidance Counselor adviced to check your name at the sticket and certificate if it was properly typed and it should be U.S.A for the country.

OBSERVATION: The orientation wasn't bad as experienced by others. It wasn't bad at all. It is actually very helpful. All the bad impression was given because of the bad experience they had. Can't blame them. But just be wise and confident, everything will be okay.

Poinf of Entry (POE), SEATAC or Seattle-Tacoma Airport.

12:45pm August 24 Departed NAIA Terminal 1 bound to Taiwan through EVA Air. The flight went smoothly and the airplane was so spacious and nice. Food? For me wasn't good or I am just getting picky. lol. By the way the flight was 1 hour delay.

4:00pm Arrived at Taipei Airport, the Airport was huge!!! Nice but didn't bother to look around because I am so tired. I had 8 hours layover. But didn't felt it, I guess I was busy chatting to my friends and to my Honey.

7:20pm August 24 Finally arrived at SeaTac! It took me time at the Passport Control because there only 1 person in charge for each line or window. I was only asked how we met and was escorted to the other window where my visa packet was collected. I think I was really never ask a question, I stood up there and started chatting with him hahahaha. I felt so sleepy so I need to stay awake. POE was excellent. No tension, everybody was accommodating.

8:37pm Oh the long awaited moment finally happened!!! I am with my HONEY!!!! The weather was fantastic. I had a chill, yes I have low tolerance. hahahaha.

Started sending Viber messages to my family and VJ friends!!! Oh what a journey..........

EVA AIR experience: Maybe because of anticipation, excitement etc. I did not enjoyed the long flight, I had no appetite. But the flight attendant were accommodating and the Pilot did excellent job, smooth flight.

To all K1 filers, who are still on the process of waiting. Patience is the key. It won't be long you will soon be reunited with your Fiance. Keep the faith! And always pray that God give you extra patience. =)

I apologize for typos and wrong grammar. I am wide awake, couldn't sleep that's why I decided to share my experience. smile.png

GOD BLESS!!!! Keep the faith. Stay happy and stay in LOVE!!!

DavenRoxy & Hank! Don't give Cha N Nel a hard time.... hahahahaha....

Hey guys I hope you can help me. They were asking me if:

1. Can their Fiancee attend the CFO while waiting for their visa? Remember they don't have their passport.

2. If the Fiance with K1 visa has kids, do they go to the same waiting area to get a spot?

Thank you. Anyones input or first hand information is highly appreciated.

Thank you. Anyones input or first hand information is highly appreciated.
