Good afternoon all,

I have two questions regarding the pending vaccinations for AOS.

My fiancee has already had her pending vaccinations years ago:

MMR

Tdap/TD

Flu shot (seasonal)

I wonder if an approved USCIS general surgeon could transcribe them or will she need to have those vaccination done once again?

Could someone please confirm?

If not, could anyone refer me to a doctor who will not charge a lot for these vaccinations?

Thanks

Ok, If you file or got the approval for a K1 visa they didnt give you those papers in Juarez because you can do it here in the US....

What we did was taking the shots (even when i had them already in Mexico) in the Health Center, which was the cheaper place and obtain a record of those... the next step was looking all the surgeons in the area in USCIS page and call to verify that they wont do the whole exam again and when we found one really well informed of the k1 process that just file the missing part (record of vaccinations), we set the appointment...

I love you Charles forever!!

You will have to call around to find a civil surgeon that will do just the vaccinations and not insist on a new medical. She might need an MMR booster. If she never had chickenpox, she will need the varicella. She also might need a Tdap/TD booster. Not flu season right now, so she won't need that if she sees a civil surgeon before Oct.

You may have to call around a lot and even be willing to travel a little bit outside your area to find a civil surgeon that will do just the transcriptions for your I-693.

Hello all,

I am merely double checking, so forgive me for asking.

In order to submit my wife's AOS application, it is advisable for her to have the

following vaccines:

MMR booster

Varicella (if she never had chickenpox)

Tdap/TD booster

Flu shot (seasonal)

In addition, I have two options:

1. Find a local recognized general surgeon who is willing to offer

only the shots.

2. Find a local family clinic, where it would be cheaper and then

take the vaccination record to a recognized general surgeon and

ask him/her to transcribed them (I-693).

Could you kindly confirm if I am correct?

Thank you kindly

Yes, you can get the vaccinations from your own doctor and then take the records with you to the civil surgeon to have them transcribed onto the I-693.
