Hi, my fiancee's 1st child has the last name of the father, but never married. On the initial i-129f i put the mother's last name in place of the father's because we were going to resolve it, but now interview is coming close and we havent and arent going to. On the DS forms I had put the child's real surname of the father... So now with conflicting info surname of 1st child on i129 and ds forms, would that cause a problem? interview date is on sept 10th

So you screwed up on the I-129F by not listing the legal name of the child correctly? Now you are ready for the visa process and go oops8rh.gif !!

Best that I can think to do is complete all the forms with the correct legal name of all children, then at interview time go "oops! ... I made a mistake. " Hopefully the CO will look at it that way and all will go smoothly. I think you will be OK but that is just my personal opinion... only the CO knows for sure.
