Chest Xray instead of PPD

Hi Friends,

I tok some shots yesterdya and my doctoer asked me to wait for 4 weeks before I go for PPD . I told her that this is urgent and 4 week is too long. She suggested me to go for Chest Xray instead of PPD. Would this have any effect on my forms or would I get an RFE if i don't do PPD and send them Chest Xray report now?

Your replies are highly appreciated.

You should only go for chest x-ray if you test positive on your PPD and since there is a posibility due to those shots, I would do the x-ray and have my doctor give me a letter stating why thayou went that way. Don't take any chances testing positive...

That's what I do with my employees in similar situations.

Aug 26, 2013: "In Transit" Status DOS Site ~ Sent Electronically

Aug 27, 2013: "Ready" Status on DOS site (Rec'd by Consulate) Waiting for Interview Date to be scheduled!

September 3, 2013: Interview Date Assigned "12/10/2013"
