Currently I am unemployed and on benefits from railroad retirement . I had a year long battle to obtain my original job back , but lost my case last month . I am seeking employment with other railroads in Florida and have a resumes submitted to several companies . Just waiting to hear back from any of them . To get any job at this point would be less then what I make now . Going back on my taxes for 2010 65K 2011 60K and 2012 85K earned . Currently under unemployment for 2013 it is less then the required for household of 3 which I believe is 24,412 . 2012 I earned the required 24,412 needed . I would think I would receive the 221g for public charge with the unemployed status alone . I do have about 8,000 in an savings account . I do have my brother who is willing to help as a co sponsor . However since this is Manila embassy I am trying to do it myself before adding a co sponsor .

What is the total amount needed in a bank account ? I heard it has to be 3 times the needed amount needed , so 30K ?

If i were to add a co sponsor would that increase the household to 4 or add his household as well ?

At this time we have the NA02 and still waiting for an MNL number . I am going to take my time with these next steps in the hopes I hear back from Amtrak SunRail or CSX . Keep your prayers or fingers crossed for me

Myself fiancee and child I would be household size 3 . I am going to include a co sponsor what household size would they be ? 1 or add the 3 of us together bringing it to 4 ? Also what is the responsibility of the co sponsor ? To just cover the amount I can not support ? To cover the full amount of the household size ?

Household size is 3 for you and your co-sponsor (you don't count with the co-sponsor). Income needs to meet and/or exceed the 125% guidelines.
