Hello,

I am a US Citizen, I petitioned and sponsored my parents a year and half ago. after my parents arrived, my mother petitioned my 18 year old brother. now we just paid the AOS fee and sent the DS-3032. My question is that my mother is not working ( I will be the sponsor) and I am wondering how we suppose to fill up I-864. Does my mom has to fill up the I-864 and I fill up I-864 A or we both have to fill up I-864 and my wife fill up I-864 A.

I have one more question. On I-864 Part a , what box should my mother check and what box should i check on mine

You and your mom should fill up I-864 separately even your mom has no income. Also, if you want to include your wife's income as part of your household, she can fill up I-864A.

I have one more question. On I-864 Part a , what box should my mother check and what box should i check on mine

If you want to become a joint sponsor for your mom, you can check "I'm the only joint sponsor". However for your mom, she need to check "I'm the petitioner". Hope this will help you.

"Have faith in God, Jesus answered. I'll tell you the truth. if anyone says to this mountain, Go, throw yourself to the sea, and that does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen. it will be done for him. Therefore I'll tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours" (MARK 11:22-24)
