Keep an eye on your CEAC status - you want it to say "Issued".

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: United Kingdom
Timeline

Interview took between 2-3 hours.. most of this time was just sat waiting around for my number to be called. The actual interview and paperwork only took 5 mins, and the interview was only 5 mins.

All they asked for was originals and 1 photo copy of each original document. They asked me for police clearance, birth certificate, fiance`s proof of employment (letter of employment or online work authorization.) plus his most recent (2012) W2s. I also had tax transcrips just incase. These were the only things i needed to photocopy. Gave them my passport (didnt need to photocopy my passport ID page). I was not sure if they would need my fiance`s original birth certificate.. but they never asked to see it, so that was ok.

I had my interview on Monday (yesterday)

I was only asked how we met, where we met, when we 1st met in person, what he does for work, does he rent or own, and how our relationship developed.. e.g.. how it progressed to us meeting and my visits to US etc. Just general chit chat really. Didnt feel like a test at all. Very relaxed.
