Question about process between noa2 and interview

So dominican republic requires petitioner to be present at interview, which i plan on being there. My question is on the k-1 guide it says to mail fiance entire copy of i-129f and supporting docs.

So my question is....

1. Does my fiance have to mail anything from i-129f to the embassy prior to interview?

2. Can't i just bring the entire copy along with originals with me to interview?

2. It's best -- and highly recommended -- that your fiance have a complete copy of the I-129F petition in his hands well before the interview, so that he can become intimately familiar with the material, dates, and statements in it. He and you should be "on exactly the same page" in terms of your knowledge and prospective answers to the consul.

The mail system is not reliable there. I dont want the entire packet to be lost...

I dont know of any alternatives except email, and that is alot of email and he dont know english too well

DHL, UPS, Federal Express, local services, find a traveler to hand-carry it there... if his English is poor, it becomes even more important that he have the materials in his hands early so that you and he can review it in depth. It's crucial that he be familiar with every detail in it.

It objectively sounds as though you're making excuses for not doing it instead of being resourceful. Santo Domingo is no walk in the park, and you should be taking every step to fend off potentially negative outcomes. Photocopy the entire package and find a way to get it to him, the sooner the better.

You don't have to mail anything; it's not a requirement. If you don't plan on visiting him before the interview then you need to make sure that you communicate via phone/internet the details of the immigration process, his status, and, how to be ready for the interview. Better yet, if you can, you need to meet him a few days before the interview date and do those things. Take the time to practice interviewing each other. Both of you need to know each other's lives well enough to answer each question correctly.

Thank you. I know of another american lady that is visiting in september and she know the family and i might have her take the copy of the I-129f to my fiance so he can go over it. Ive already given him information about my family, my job, my life here in texas
