My fiance just completed her medical yesterday and recieved her results. How soon before she can have her visa interview? Right now its scheduled for 19 August but we want to move it to the 12th if that is possible?

It is recommended that you schedule the interview at least one week or longer after the medical....this allows the time for the results to be transferred to the Embassy.

Changing it to the 12th is really pushing it, especially when today (the 9th) is a holiday. That does not leave much time for the transfer.

Just my thoughts, not sure what happens if your medical information is not there other than you would probably encounter more delays and a reschedule of your appointment.

I was thinking of rescheduling our interview to August 15 also since my fiance completed his medical exam on August 7 and our original interview is set for August 20 but we decided to just stick with the original date to give us another week to go over our files and make sure we do not forget anything for the interview. Just like others advised me stick to your original interview date as you never know you may not get any other available date or may cause a problem. Try not thinking about that it is still a week way so the day goes by fast :) Good luck.

Try not to think also helps calm your nerves especially when you had bad experiences with the embassy before.

The only way you can reschedule is to cancel your current appt., then you have to hope you can find something earlier and if you don't your original appointment date may have been grabbed while you where looking about and you are SOL.
