We are using an attorney but I'm starting to think we could have just done all this on our own with all of the support on this website. Anyway, we were all excited and started to plan a wedding date but have since realized we had better wait to see how long the process takes. I'm wondering if other couples have set dates or are waiting to see how it goes first. We were about to put down a deposit on a venue and that's when we took a hard look at reality!

Glad to see more UKers who are filing to the same location and similar dates as us!! Nervous !! Yet so excited.

I'm happy though because once i return to the UK (on holiday here atm) I will have hope because the K1 has finally been filed.

We met in 2005 and met in real life in 2010, only just filed at the start of August/end of July!! tongue.png

Hi Kaysil I just figured out how to change my signature under settings in order to list our timeline. We sent the I-129F 7/29 via FedEx and received the NOA1 in the mail on 8/7.

I know exactly how you feel; I came home after a frustrating day at work and found our NOA1 hard copy in my mailbox. I must have looked at it fifty times since I got home, lol! Now we have a nice approximate 5 month wait ahead of us.
