Asking for Passport Police Certificate again ???

Ok, I got appointment letter yesterday.

BUT

Next to Passport Police Certificate they put A, which means "Obtain this documente and present it at your interview"

We already gave the Police Passport Certificate.

When I filed IV package the first time, I wrote on cover sheet that Husband will bring Police Passport Certificate to Interview. Then, we re-sent the IV package with the Police Passport Certificate on June 23rd.

Why are they asking again? I am really really confused!!!!!!!!!

05/22/2013: NVC gave checklist to send Indian Police Certificate

06/23/2013: FedED'd the IV package with Indian Police Certificate and Updated Passport Page (I was added as Spouse)

07/25/2013: Case Complete

09/10/2013: Husband did Medical

09/19/2013: Interview Date for US Embassy in New Delhi - OM SAI RAM - ***APPROVED***

09/26/2013: Husband received Passport with US Visa in postal mail

10/11/2013: Flight Arrives USA

10/24/2013: Husband received Social Security Card

11/13/2013: Paid $165 Immigration Fee

12/09/2013: Husband received Green Card

I think they are asking for the PCC. PAssport Clearence Certificate which you can get at the passport office.

Police clearence certificate is the one you can get from your Police commissioners office. Usdually they are asking for the Passport clearence certificate.I would suggest you to bring both with you at the interview.

But my Husband already submitted the Passport Clearance Certificate. Why are they asking again?

Did he submitted the Passport Clearance Certificate to NVC? If yes, then I think you shouldn't worry, because during interview, they will give you your NVC package back and they will already have your PCC.

Try calling NVC or Consulate or Both and ask them, they will give you clear idea about it.
