Oh, that's WONDERFUL news!!!!

It is, Becca, it most definitely is. We've been playing a lot of catch-up on things we were not able to do for almost 2 years - dinner dates, going to the movies, hanging out with friends at their homes, organizing impromptu activities for buddies and/or family, etc. Brandon has so much life and energy now. A year ago I had to slow down A LOT to move with him at the same pace. Now I can barely keep up sometimes! In fact, waking up at 4:30am on Black Friday to go to Best Buy was HIS idea.

PS. Btw, I have been praying for you and Wes.

Hmmmm....my day is just about over (maybe ...more on that in a minute hehe) but this it it so far:

Woke at 7, went and fed the cows (17) and the calves (9) we have weaning in the corral). Got back, put on a pot of coffee and made Alli breakfast. Load of laundry in, hubby woke up so I stripped the bed and put fresh sheets on. Made him brekkie and vaccuumed the house. Then we left at 9 to do some Xmas shopping and get groceries. Had to be back by 2 p.m. because my daughter's friend Abby...who she hadn't seen in 2 years, was coming in from Massachusetts and spending the weekend with us. I had also invited the other girls who all used to hang around with Abby when she lived here so they could sleep over here tonight and get to see Abby. I was a bit scared that Abby and Alli might not have a lot in common anymore and things wouldn't be the same...but it was all for naught as you can see by this pic I took a half hour after Abby arrived. My daughter Alli is on the left and Abby is on the right...

This pic warms my heart and makes me all choked up...lol..
