Hello all,

We were approved 2 weeks ago, and I'm now in the process of sending my I-134, letter from employer, and letter of intent to my fiance. Does it matter what dates are on the forms (any time after receiving the NOA2), or do we need to wait until our actual interview is scheduled to date them?

This might be a little too cautious but want to make sure everything goes smoothly smile.png It usually takes mail a full 3 weeks to get to him, so we want to send it all over now!

Also, does the letter from employer mean a letter from HR?

Thanks so much.

Signing it a couple months before the interview is fine. I do not know what consulate you are going through, but you probably want to add in your most recent tax transcript as well. And it depends on where you work, but yes you can have someone in your HR dept. draw up the employment letter for you.

In our case we post-dated the documents closer to her interview date, but documents like bank account information are dated the day I obtained them. If your company does have an HR department, then yes you will get a letter from them and on the company letterhead. We only believe that her interview will be sometime in September, as we will be shipped to the Embassy soon but as of right now we do not have an interview date. Just this week I shipped her the documents as well.
