Hi everyone I need help please. I am filing for my husband and daughter ( not biological father and not legally adopted by husband, I am the petitioner)

For D. Other Information

1. If separate petitions are also being submitted for relatives, give names of each and relationship

> Q: Is it Husband name for example: John Doe then is it my relationship to him or to my daughter which I am also filing a petition for? John Doe, Husband OR John Doe, Stepfather ( is it even accepted if i put in that word?)

2. Have you ever filed a petition for this or any either alien { } yes { } no

> Q: With this one I am quite confuse as well, as per my daughter's situation, previously when I was petition by my mom I am an IR2 together with my application she also applied for my daughter but her application was denied. Does this question pertains to if I EVER FILED FOR MY DAUGHTER ( which is a NO) OR DID SOMEONE FILED A PETITION FOR MY DAUGHTER PREVIOUSLY (which is a YES)...

Please Help.

1. If separate petitions are also being submitted for other relatives, give names of each and relationship

On your husband's sheet you say: Daughter's name, daughter

On your daughter's sheet you say: Husband's name, husband.

2.Have you ever filed a petition for this or any either alien { } yes { } no

You missed the key word there... it's asking if YOU have ever filed a petition before. I think the answer on both sheets would be no because this is the first time you've filed for either one. The reason I say that is because it also says "if yes, give name, place, and date of filing and result" but neither have a result so that is my interpretation.

Thank You for the reponse. I appreciate that. I do understand now for the Question #1

But I still get confused with #2, since it says ...Have you ever filed a petition for this or any either alien

> which means as per my daughter, I did not filed for her previously but last 2004 my MOM did, so with that will my mom be considered as other alien? My Daughter's application was denied since she was filed as my derivative and IR2 or immediate relative of a USC cannot have derivative it should be filed separately. As far as I know.

Thank you.
