F2A - January 2013 Filer with NOA2

My sister is married to a US permanent resident. They filed their I-130 petition on January 2013. As of July 18, 2013, upon checking their status online, it stated that their petition is approved. We were all surprised about this because we didn't expect that it would come this soon. It's a good kind of surprise, of course. :)

My questions now are:

1. I know she falls under category F2A being a spouse of a PR. But what kind of visa would that be? Would it be F2A as well or CR1?

I tried searching the guides for the F2A process but can't seem to find one. I am not familiar with this because what I went through was the K1 process. Not sure how similar these two are. If the process if the same as with CR1/IR1 then that would be great. They will just have to follow that one. :)

2. What's the next step after receiving the NOA2?

I know that it will be forwarded to NVC then to the consulate. Would they be sent a packet? A set of instructions? Or can it be seen in a particular website?

Thanks in advance for all your help! :)

Is this the guide?

If so, I feel kinda stupid for only finding it after posting my query. :P

Wow congrats! You can refer to my signature for the timeline.

You can use this as a guide: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/LingChe_NVC_ShortCut

Her visa will be F2A. CR1 is for Spouse of a US Citizen (married less than 2 years).

I'm not so sure. I'll ask her. But she did mention January 28, 2013. I just don't know if that's the date that they sent their petition or it's the date of the NOA1. :)

Maybe I could ask her to create a profile and timeline so that it will benefit others here at VJ. :)
