thank you so much I was confused because I didn't send the g325a with my i130 at the beginning now I know that form is to be sent when I 130 is approved

G325a is sent with i-130, originals (marriage certificate, etc.) are sent to NVC later on when petition is approved. Could you have confused it with OF-230?

Er, no, to me it looks like they'd ask you to provide it before they approve since it was supposed to come with the first package. Anyone, please correct me if i'm wrong.

I'm the beneficiary.

Don't have a timeline? Don't know how to get started with it? Do it for the statistics sake: VJ video guide

Filing for a USC spouse visa (IR-1/CR-1) and not sure what comes next? Check out the VJ IR-1/CR-1 guide

Want to know what's happening with your case? Here's the USCIS tracking page (get an account and see if the case's been 'touched'!). Don't get your hopes up though, some cases never even appear there despite being successfully processed.

So I did send evrithing but not the g325a with the i130 I was told that wass to be sent later with original documents ???

WOW where did you get that misinformation? Anyway you will get either a RFE (we pray) and you send that with the passport pics for you two. Or they will reject/deny the application and keep your money.

Ok I was told the they will ask for the g325a if needed .. coreect me if im wrong

Of course they will need it as i have stated twice. You were to attach the Petitioner and beneficiaries passport size pic to that form and send in.

Depending on the adjudicator you should get an RFE and they will ask for you to send this. Now this can come 5, 6, 7 months from now when they adjudicate your case.

However they can also deny your petition for lack of having proper forms. I have seen that happen here. You lose your fees everything and have to refile.

But one or the other will most definitely happen that is for sure.

Your case hasn't even been adjudicated (reviewed). When it does they will see the missing forms and like I said wither RFE and ask or deny. Everyone ones case will say Initial review once it is received and a receipt# assigned. It means you are sitting and waiting in line.

.

This is a REQUIRED form so you will be notified one way or another. All you can do is wait. Or you could call and ask for a tier 2 supervisor and tell them what you forgot and maybe just maybe they will let you send in.

Also have you called to see where your petition is at? Is it still at NBC or has it been transferred to you local field office. If so you could schedule an INFOPASS appt and take the forms in than.

I would start calling USCIS and be proactive soonest.

I have a lawyer that is my consult in my case. I am filing the I-130 for my husband, who is in Santiago D.P> the I-130 once is file it comes under the K-3. google USCIS and read the intructions. It can be very confusing this is why I have my lawyer to guide me.....if paperwork is not satisfactory with the consulante process your timeline will be hindered. I do not know if this will help. the process tedious from my experience with the I-129, which my fiancé was denied , so we got married 9mos later.....GOOD LUCK!

This is wrong. If a married couple wants to chase the K3 (which is basically obsolete) you first file I-130 than once you get receipt # you file the I-129F. In most cases NVC will close the I-129F and you will than be chasing after a CR1/IR1 Visa not a K3.

It slips through the cracks very few times and doesn't buy you anything. Was great back in early 2000 when it took a few years for married couples to unite. That doesn't exist any longer. Lately CR1/IR1 Visas are faster than K1's.
