Extend and Transfer (Need help)

Good day for everyone ,

I'm from Egypt and as you all know the situation over here we applied for k.1 visa and waiting the interview letter when i checked on this link : https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?

found our papers is ready for interview and waiting for the latter my i have 2 questions :

1- my noa2 will be expired first of August my fiance extend letter is ready but the embassy is closed in Cairo where i have to send it ? how can we extend it while the embassy is closed coz of the situation in Egypt ?

2- we did not get the interview letter yet ... is it better to transfer to another embassy in another country ? and how we can do that ?

You may want to contact a DOS visa specialist at 202-663-1225, press 1, then 0, for a live person. Ask them about the current process in Cairo.

usa embassy in cairo will work tomorow 15/07/2013 and i think they will check all late cases and that will make late for the interview letters .. but pretty sure they working tomorow .. good luck ..

i just called DOS and they said i don't have to worry about that expiration date.
