My fiance has an ARN assigned for the NoA I got for his transfer.

What does this mean? ohmy.png

It looks like this (I changed the names and changed all the actual numbers to zero)

I called a Tier 2 IO a while back about this and he said it's pre-processing but one wouldn't be actually assigned until you're approved, so I'm confused now. :c

As far as I know, all of the ones being transferred to the TSC have had their A# listed on the notices. I do not know how to answer "What does this mean?", other than it means all immigration cases are assigned an A#. It gets assigned at the I-129F petition processing phase and will also be found on the NOA2 approval notice near the beneficiary's name.
