It just means this jury is being deliberate. They did bombard them with a ton of evidence. It only takes one juror that wants to go over it all before coming to a conclusion. Juries are dynamic, and there are no set rules. I wouldn't read anything into how long it is taking yet.

I guess I am like you. I would not bet a dime on the verdict. What I want it to be and what it will be might be two very different things.

I personally don't see how the jury could follow the judges orders and find him guilty. That having been said , I doubt the base their decision entirely on the law.

If I had to bet I would be hung jury, followed by a coin toss on manslaughter or acquittal.

It could go that way. But if the story of GZ doesn't ring true to them because of the other evidence presented...he's guilty.

The intent is there from the call made by GZ. The fight could be a mutual combat because Jeantel states it was GZ as the agressor and GZ states it's TM. Scratch that mutual combat...you can't use a gun when the other party is unarmed.

Plus...he's a minor. GZ's actions put both in a bad situation.

Taking all that in consideration I could even go Murder 2. But it's close...real close.
