Just wondering if my fiancé after arriving in the US, can she go up to Canada with me ? or, at what point can she travel there. Before the wedding, only after the wedding....need a Green Card first ??

Thanks for your input.

NO. And she can't go to Canada after getting the Advance Parole card either, have to wait for the green card.

She can travel coast to coast and border to border, but not cross either until she has her green card.

not entirely true. https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/991/~/when-is-advance-parole-required-for-travel

but it is inadvisable.

I'm not sure if the Philippines has a visiting program with Canada. She needs to be a US citizen first or you have to file for a Canadian tourist visa after she got her green card.

01-26-12 - Sent the I-129f to TX

02-02-12 - NOA1

06-19-12 - NOA2

08-13-12 - Approved!

11-02-12 - Filed for AOS

11-07-12 - NOA1

12-03-12 - Biometrics

Now look up Canada regarding the Philippines and what they require for entry... a visa. Issue isn't getting back into the USA its a Philippine citizen being allowed in Canada. We as U.S. citizenships share special privileges with Canada

Green holders can enter Canada and Mexico with no Visa according to VisaHQ.com.

Correct! No issue once there is a green card, but not when they only have the Advance Parole card (which was his queston), can't enter Canada without a visa then.
