Good day to all,

I came across to the Philippines Portal Page and they chose to pick up the Passport/Visa at 2Go, Mall of Asia.

My question is regardless of your location/hometown, is it ok to choose to pick it up at Mall of Asia. Can anyone share their experience?

I'm located at Angeles City, Pampanga (Region III) based on any package/courier deliveries in/out of the country, they considered my location as Provincial. So when i scheduled my appointment i chose to deliver it to my home address as i want someone to be there anytime when it is delivered. Is there an option to change the delivery address or choice of delivery? Pick-up option to the selected 2GO pick-up points. (and how will i do that?)

Your inputs are greatly appreciated. Thanking you all in advace as this VJ forum is very helpful.

regards,

Dahlia

Yup its OK to pickup your visa at MOA.

IN A HURRY?

Usually visas are printed and passports returned through 2GO in 7-10 days. If you need your passport soon and you will be staying in Metro Manila, it may be a better idea to pick it up from the 2GO outlet at SM Mall of Asia. Passports are usually returned a day or two sooner.

If your visa has been approved, ask the consular officer for instructions on how to pick up your visa at Mall of Asia. they’ll hand you a sheet of paper with instructions, and you’ll be on your way!

Yes you can change your delivery option. I waited almost a month after my approval for Visa to be issued and couldn't wait anymore for home delivery. I called the embassy and asked if I could do this. The operator said yes, just email the embassy and state your request. I called the embassy again just to make sure that they got my email request. They did, and so hopefully I'm picking it up at MOA next week.

What address and how to email embassy? Check Hank's link. Goodluck! : )

Hi,

I hope you will collect your passport/visa soon. Thank you for your inputs. I was able to change the delivery option and re-print the appointment letter at this link http://cgifederal.force.com

And also i will be calling the embassy just to make sure the request is updated at their end.

God bless,

Dahlia

@Lemajeca my mom had her interview july 10th 2013 and got her passport with visa delivered july 15th, she lives in San Pablo City Laguna. It only took from interview approval to visa 2 to 3 working days. Not sure about provinces.

I have no solid information exactly how long it will take. Some says there's no guarantee to received it early even if you decide to pick it up at Mall of Asia.

Well for Manila based maybe there's no problem in receiving it soon.

Still doing research for the recent approve visas... how long they waited to receive it....

cheers

There is no rhyme or reasoning to "how long", we were in the metro Manila area... it took two weeks. There is another in Cebu, it took less than a week. Still others that took only 3 days.

By the time you get your chart done the visa will have arrived and everything else will be but a faint memory... And you will find no correlation between "where" and "number of days" ;)

.... this could turn a guys hair gray!!

from Hank ".... this could turn a guys hair gray!! laughing.gif" this is funny

What is important to all of you who had their "VISA APPROVED" is just a matter of waiting....

But for us still on it's way to the interview stage is different story.... panic attack.. idea9dv.gif

I guess Hank is right... residing within Manila is not a guarantee..... let us just hope for the best for everyone....

cheers!!!!

Don't panic, and for sure don't stress...

I know what you are saying, but seriously as long as you have a true, loving relationship, follow the Embassy Instructions Letter all will be fine.

The waiting for the petition approval gives you way too much time for thinking... ya need a good drinking song!
