Hey Fellas

I thought I would post while I debate my dilemma. Let me know your suggestions if you have any.

I am a May filer with an interview date in August.

I need to leave the country two days after the interview. From my understanding they no longer stamp your passport. I believe you need an infopass appointment to do that which would need to be scheduled. I am an H1-B dual intent visa holder.

May I re-enter the country after the interview on my H1-B? Can I make an infopass for the day after the interview? What if the decision is deferred, pending further review? When does the change of status occur?

The alternative, of course, is to reschedule and I believe that puts me back at the bottom of the heap.

Regards

Mozart

They can stamp your passport if you bring proof of imminent travel to your interview. If you are not approved at the interview you can still travel on your H1B.

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!
