I have read in several places that once you receive your Case # over the phone from NVC and pay your Visa fee, you can then schedule your interview date.

During the online registration for the interview on the scheduling website, they ask you for your "Priority Date" the priority date is not on the NOA2 so how can you proceed ???

Looks like you have to wait until you have received the actual Case # notification from NVC.....is this true ?? Am I missing something here ???

Wow....this is certainly getting more complicated as we go....thank you all so much for your help !!!

Have you looked at Hank_ 's link? it pretty much walks you thru the entire process. It's been a great help to me. But, basically, per Hank_ the priority date is the received date on your NOA1. So according to your timeline, 27 Feb 2013

Priority date is as noted by April n Gary and as listed in my link, it the received date on your NOA1... relax, read slowly. :)

No you do not need to wait until you get the notification from NVC....

Take a deep breath, read through everything more than once, then have a good time!
