i just got the hard copy of my "change of address today" its crazy because i never changed my address, i know some post who got the same status but they never changed their address, i dont know whether to be worried or what! did anybody get the same notice by any chance?

Sent to DOS July 26, 2013

Waiting for our MNL# from NVC

usually that error is that your file has been touched

why not give a call to uscis.. transfer to an IO and leave your call back number.. you don't lose your place in line that way

Not 100% sure how it works for K-1, we are CR1 i would not imagine it's to different but we got a text message saying our address was changed, not long after that message, we got another saying our petition was approved. I called USCIS and asked them about the message stating about the change of address alert, they said its routine. So its more than likely good you received that message, like Stevie b stated, it means someone has touched your file
