Renewing expiring Philippine passport

I came in USA and married my fiancé last year. When I came in States I am using my single name. Now my passport is about to expire and I am living here in Texas. Where is the right place that I can renew it? And also I did not report our marriage in states to the Philippine Consulate, Is there a way I can renew my passport without using my husband lastname? I still wanna use my single name and plus its a lot of hassle to do it. Any answer is much appreciated. I don't wanna buy a ticket to California if they will not going to renew my passport.

Texas is serviced by the consulate in LA, so you either go there or wait for the consulate outreach program to come to Texas (again). The outreach program was already in Texas earlier this year so not sure it will be there again this year.

Do you use your husband's last name on your green card and other documents, or are you using your single name there as well? The consulate will want to see your green card.

It is no hassle to do a name change to your married name (if it is not your single name). It is very easy to do the report of marriage (ROM), that can be done by mail, or done at the same time as you renew the passport. My wife did both at the same time when the outreach program was in Phoenix back in February.
