The same amount of time as everyone else unless you decide to expedite it and get approved

oh there is criteria f you want to expedite..i taught there not.. but it ok i'ma wait my petition its already 4 mos and 1 day since my priority date .. im in california service center why is it my noa 2 still waiting> did you know why>?some advice pls.

***moved to process and procedure from progress reports***

What are the first 3 letters of your case number?

msc is the first 3 words of my receipt number.. i check it site of uscis and it stated that not available at this time but it took 4 mos already do i need to be worried?

That is not the california service center.

You are at the national benefit center.

but we filed in california.. is that they transfered it? how long they process in National benefit center?

Your petition doesn't stay at NBC, it gets transferred to your local office, which you currently show as san francisco.

You can filter out timelines here for San Fran:

Yeah, everyone who isn't approved is being processed.

That's called 'we received it and we'll get to it when we get to it sometime in the average time frame'

Local offices process stand alone I-130 petitions.


Your petition will be processed in approximately 4-7 months on average.

You keep waiting, this is what you should do.

Please fill in your timeline.

If you have grounds for a military expedite, then have your husband submit for one.

but when my husband called the office where they filed my petition she said that in 3 to 5 mos my petition wil be approved?

The overall avg time would be around 5 months.

It's sad that they tried to tease you with 3 months since that is not normal.

Some local offices are slower and can take nearly 7 or even 8 and 9 in some cases right now.

You should probably count on somewhere between 4 and 6.
