On the DS-230 for question 11, "Address in the US where you want your Permanent Resident Card mailed if different from address in item #10," has anyone ever used a different address here from their permanent address and did you receive your Green Card with no problem? My wife is thinking it would be safer if we put my parents' address to have the Green Card mailed to since there is someone always home.

Also, on the physical Green Card do they print an address?

07/02/2013 - Submitted AOS bill payment

07/05/2013 - AOS bill status PAID

07/06/2013 - Mailed AOS package

07/08/2013 - AOS delivered

07/09/2013 - DS-3032 accepted

07/10/2013 - Received IV bill

07/11/2013 - Submitted IV bill payment

07/13/2013 - IV bill status PAID

07/16/2013 - Mailed IV package

07/17/2013 - IV package delivered

08/01/2013 - AOS approved

08/12/2013 - IV approved & Case Complete

08/21/2013 - Casefile confirmed at Tokyo Embassy

cant comment on sending it to another address as we put the same address... but i wonder if thats in case you want to put a PO box or similar?

I would be hesitant putting anything but your permanent address.

As for the green card itself - no it does not have your address actually on it.

Case upgrade request sent via email April 3 2013

Case upgraded by NVC from F2A to CR1 April 19 2013

Interview June 6th 2013 - APPROVED - case upgraded to IR1 at time of interview based on time married

Visa in hand June 10th 2013

IV fee paid using ELIS June 17th 2013

POE Houston July 15th 2013

GC arrived in mail Aug 12th 2013

SSN card arrived in mail Aug 19 2013 (1 week after applying)
