Sending the IV package today. What documents will my wife need to bring to the interview?

So far, this os what I thought of (based on NVC website):

Appointment letter

Marriage certificate copy

Translation copy (notarized)

Wedding photos

Letters sent between us

I can also get a notarized copy of a letter from my employer with my salary, etc, but I am not sure if that is necessary.

Anything else needed?

Also, is there a way to check the status of my AOS and IV packages? (Approved or not?)

I would highly recommend sending bono fide relationship documetns with your IV package.. It will give a change for IO to review before interview!

Its been two weeks and i have not gotten update on my AOS or IV yet.. You can start calling NVC next week to start finding the status. Once they review it, they will be able to confirm with you.

Thanks

Agreed! Send anything you want the consular officer to see with your IV package. They often will not look at anything brought to the interview.

Shoot!!!

I already sent in my IV package, but have a lot of documents prepared for my wife to take with her to the interview (financial stuff, pictures etc). Is there a way i can send these in to the NVC after i have already sent in the IV package if they will help my case avoid the dreaded AP?

Thanks
