So things have been going great. Sent my I-130 back in February, and just paid my IV bill. I was assembling the DS-230 and supporting documents, but then it occurred to me....I had laminated my original marriage certificate, and laminated my original notorized translation. Can I still send these in? The notory's stamp ink seeped through the page, so it is pretty obvious that it is original...but I really don't know what to do right now. I can try to get another copy of the translation...but then I have to find the same notory, and have them sign it the exact same way. This is doable, perhaps, just difficult. Help?

That's correct... Because the interview will take place in your home country they do not need translations for the IV package documents.

But you always need to be careful about laminating documents. For instance, all of my Canadian documents are VOID if laminated or altered. I have to get new documents if I laminate them (so obviously I don't... lol) Read the fine print! :)
