I wanted to ask you if an old drug conviction could cause problems with the k1. Thanks We received the noa1 approved, and preparing our paperwork for the next step. But I had an old litle drug conviction. and I would like to know if its possible to still get a k1 visa, or I'm already in problems

usually wont if it is a misdemeanor .. felony not sure

don't lie on any form about this it will come back and bite you

also full disclosure with the fiancée.. could come up at interview time

Everything I have read states that if the beneficiary states that s/he has ever used drugs in the past even if it was for experimentation it is grounds for a denial of the visa.

I don't want to make you worry, but you should look into it more to be sure.
