JUN 12 NVC GAVE ME MY NUMBER FOR CUIDAD JUAREZ

I am wondering the same thing. Our NOA2 is May 28th and on June 10th they gave me my case number from NVC. I called today and they gave me our invoice number and beneficiary ID# and they said that the case is still at NVC, but based on the information they gave me am I able to schedule the interview already?? We are so nervous yet exited. Most likely we will see each there at Juarez! :) Do you guys know what hotel yall are staying in? We still do not know we are trying to find the cheapest one possible I mean we are there for interview and we are out. :)

I think its after it arrives at Juarez. But how are we going to know when that happens? Oh lucky you! Best of luck to you and your fiancée and thank you so much! I would greatly appreciate it! I heard La Playa hotel is pretty cheap and walking distance to the consulate so I guess we will stay there. and well I a little confused too. I have mostly everything ready. I just need my cosponsors paperwork and to do DS156 and DS260. My fiancée hasn't gotten his passport either but they give it the same day so no worries I am making him go soon though. I know I want to schedule the interview already! like ASAP! :)

But I think we only need income tax from 2012 right? We need the past 3 years only for AOS after marriage. We are only sending the 2012 and I have a question. They look at the total gross income for the Affidavit of support right? Before any deductions?

Gross income yes. Use letter from employer and recent pay stubs to prove current income along with the I-134 and most recent tax transcript.

If self-employed, it is gross income but after business expenses.. line 22 of the most recent 1040, total income.

All sponsors must submit the following documentation with their Form I-134, Affidavit of Support:
1. Proof of current employment or self employment. A letter from your employer on company
letterhead showing your income is good evidence. You must also include at a minimum your last
four pay stubs
2. A photocopy or an Internal Revenue Service-issued transcript of your complete Federal income
tax return for your most recent tax year, or an explanation if it is not submitted. If you are selfemployed, you should have completed one of the following forms with your Federal income tax
return: Schedule C (Profit or Loss from Business), Schedule D (Capital Gains), Schedule E
(Supplemental Income or Loss) or Schedule F (Profit or Loss from Farming). You must include each
and every Form 1040 Schedule, if any, that you filed with your Federal tax return.
If you don't have a copy of your tax return, you can order a transcript at no charge from the IRS
3. Your W-2s and/or 1099 forms (photocopies only, not originals).
4. You may also, at your option, submit a photocopy or an Internal Revenue Service-issued
transcript of your complete Federal income tax returns for your second and third most recent tax
years if you believe these additional tax returns may help you establish the ability to maintain your
household income at the governing threshold set forth in Form I-864P, Poverty Guidelines. You can
see the Poverty Guidelines here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-864p.pdf .
5. Occasionally a consulate will ask for your last 6-9 months bank statements, especially if you are
self employed. If possible, you should go ahead and include these bank statements just in case.
The Form I-134 must have your original signature. This means you must sign and mail to the
alien. They will not accept a scanned or faxed signature!
If you are using the income of persons in your household or dependents to qualify as a sponsor,
you must also submit a separate Form I-864A, Contract Between Sponsor and Household Member,
plus all of the evidence listed above for each person whose income you will use.
THIS IS WHAT THEY GAVE ME

No DS-230 for Juarez. You need the DS-260. See the link I posted above in this thread.

Also, I am not sure who are referring to that gave you the info you posted above. No I-864 or I-864A is used for the K-1 interview. If you need a co-sponsor, you will each fill out your own separate I-134 and provide the supporting documentation. There is no combining of incomes. The co-sponsor must qualify on their own for their own household size plus the beneficiary.

RAPID VISA IS THE ONE THAT GAVE ME THIS INFO THEY HAVE BEEN HELPING ME WITH MY PROCESS.

YES I JUST FINISHED SEEING THE LINK YOU POSTED THANK YOU SO MUCH IT WAS A GREAT HELP

SO ITS FINE FOR BOTH OF US TO DO THE DS 260 ASAP! EVEN THOUGH IT HASNT LEFT THE NVC

Well, they are incorrect. The I-864A is not used with an I-134. They are mixing up two different affidavit of support forms.

I would wait until the case has been received by CDJ, then as long as you have your CDJ case #, invoice # and beneficiary ID # from the NVC, you can fill out the DS-260 and start scheduling things.
