Help - When to do the medical and CFO Seminar? CR1 Visa

Hello. I just would like to ask when is the right time to do the medical exam in St. Luke's? My Interview date is July 11. My husband wants me to do the medical on July 4, do you think that is so close? I want it to be done this last week of June. Also, bout the CFO seminar? when should it be done? before the interview or after? Help please.

hi theres no problem on your date plan i done my medical May 29th and 30th din interview last June 6th and about CFO, last 29th after my medical i attended CFO afternoon but only certificate i got the sticker i can get it when visa on hand which is easier for me to only pick up the sticker before going US. i hope my experienced will help you

Good question because when i had my medical last May 28, i would have been given the vaccines that day after the check up with the physician if only i passed the xray

that's what im worried about... that xray. oh God, cant imagine experiencing another few months of delay.

Yes...i can not afford further delays since we were waiting 19 months from USCIS to be approved..Good thing is i know i will fail in the xray thingy because i have a scar in my left lung that is why i did the medical even before we started the NVC process.

Embassy suggests doing the medical 7-10 before the interview date, so you should be fine.

I would suggest getting CFO done before the interview then after you get your visa stop by CFO with the certificate and get the sticker in your passport.
