Hi

it's my first time posting, so I am sorry for if this post is all wrong.

I have recently received my NOA2, which has made myself and my fiancée extremely excited, however I am in the process of filling out the DS-230 and I have come across the work history section, so I loaded up the G-325A form to make sure that I don't miss anything out, only to realise I had forgot to mention 2 instances of work experience I had at university, one was working for 3 days over the royal wedding and the other working for 4/5 days (i cant quite remember) for the Queens Jubilee). I have come over in a cold sweat, I can't believe I forgot to mention these two bits of work. I am so freaked out now that this will cause an issue. Would it cause a problem if I fill out the DS-230 and add these two jobs with a note explaining the mistake/error? or will that cause further problems? Or would I have to contact the Embassy in London directly about the issue?

Thanks for your time, you Guys have been a huge help getting this far into the application as it is.

Really, don't stress. You made an honest, easy to do, mistake. Complete the DS-230 accurately. Don't worry about your old G-325A, complete a new one and include that with your DS-230 with a note. They'll see it's a very minor addition (I'm sure they'll find 8 days work fairly irrelevant and non-suspect) and they'll replace your old one with the new one. I do not foresee this being a problem for you. It would only really be an issue if you had omitted something that would have had an effect on your petition being approved or not (which this would not).

Call or email the embassy and check with them - I'm sure they'll suggest the same, or even to not even bother with a new G-325A as the work you wish to include is so small.

Frankly, the work time was so little you'd probably get away with never mentioning them at all - you were a student at the time as it was. They're just looking for flags like periods of being untraceable or being in countries that the US doesn't like much.

Thanks for the fast reply. I was thinking that I should just update and make a note of it. I hope they are understanding of an honest mistake.

I personally wouldn't even bother for 7 days work. It's not significant for a visa decision. Maybe if you spent 5 years as an explosive expert, that might get some consideration. It wasn't your regular job or a career. It was a gig you forgot about and insignificant. Edited by Nich-Nick

I made multiple mistakes on my G325 and that what was the advice we were given on VJ. It was great advice and a non-issue at the interview

good luck
