Hi,

I will go into some details on my confusions with the K-1 visa. My fiance and i have been together for more than 5 years now. we met while i was in the philippines going to college, after graduating my daughter was born. I left to go back to the U.S (due to me being born in the U.S) to join the military. I have tried to apply citizenship for my daughter at the U.S embassy but lacked 1 requirement of being present in the U.S for 2 years before my daughters birth and after my age of 14. Therefore my daughters citizenship was denied.

I was advised to proceed with a K-1 visa for my fiance and was told that my daughter would be included in the petition. With that being said, do i need to provide more documents on the K-1 visa packet (ex G-325A? Birth Certificates?)

Also i currently live in a military Barracks, would that being my address be any issue for my petition? or would i be able to use my Billing Address where my mother lives?

Thank you for your help and advice.

That doesn't sound right for your daughter getting her citizenship recognized.. after all you ARE a U.S. citizen and she is your daughter ... I don't know for fact... just my opinion.

You should really post a separate topic concerning your daughter's citizen, you may find other's who have dealt with this.

As for the K-1/K-2 (daughter) on the petition you list your daughter on the I-129F in section 13, that's it for now.

I don't see issue with using your military address on base, but you could use your mother's address easily enough also.

You should pop down to the Philippine forum and say Hi.

Thank you for your Advice, i will proceed with using my mothers address as its more convenient receiving mail there. as for my daughter i also called the uscis military hotline and even they were baffled with why my daughter got denied.

I am also in the military and I know for sure that using your mum address would be the best idea since you might move or be deployed and miss your mails. For the I 129F apply and make surr u ask for an expedite case.they will approve it because u are in the military.all you need to send them is your military order and a letter explaining why you want your case expedited.Good luck and if you need more advice feel free to emaile.
