RFE - What Do I Send the USCIS?

Got RFE indicating "Please provide the physical address of your residence. If it is impossible for you to receive mail at your physical address, you may also provide an explanation and request, alomng with the address of your physical residence requesting the USCIS to use an alternative mailing address such as a P.O. BOX or other mailing address."

What do I send them? Do I just send the request in a letter? Should I re-send the Application Form with an attachment and explanation?

Just an FYI, I receive my mail at a P.O. Box. Are there guides for dealing with RFEs here on VJ?

Since they are not being specific with what you need to do, I would call USCIS to get more information and clarification.

I understand that most residents on Guam receive their mail at the post office (ie GMF - Guam Main Facility). That's not a problem.

In this case, I believe it would be best to attach an explanation letter. Let them know that mail is not delivered to your physical address or residential address. Rather, it is delivered to your mailing address...the P.O. Box.

You can explain that, but whether your mail is delivered there or not, they still want your PHYSICAL address, most certainly you have one, whether you get mail there or not.

So yes, write a letter, include your physical address, but explain you cannot receive mail there for whatever reason, and re-list your 'mailing' address and explain that they are separate.

But they require your physical address on record, in case they want to show up at the door, to run background checks, etc.

Thank you all for your responses.

I will send a letter explaining our physical address and our mailing address. In retrospect we should have sent an attachment when I submitted the forms for the AOS, EAD and the AP.
