I received a RFE from USCIS ( intent to marry )on April 22 and my lawyer send them package on May 10. How do I know if Uscis receives the package? Also, how long will I get I NOA2? Someone please help answer this question.

NOA2 is a 5 - 6 month wait sometimes longer.

You can call USCIS and ask them if they got the RFE package.

they should update your status on USCIS webside saying that they received your RFE

I did call USCIS on 05/19/2013 and the representative told me that i have to wait for 60 days to get updates on my case, which i think was Ludacris.

they updated my status 10 days later after i sent them RFE!

That is great news Masha. My lawyer stated that she mailed the requested document on 05/10/2013, I wonder if she was telling me the truth. This is the worst situations i have ever encounter.

I sent my RFE package away on Tuesday, the 21st, and my USCIS case Status changed on Thursday the 23rd saying they had received it. Now we wait to see if the RFE evidence i sent back was sufficient, and wait for the NOA2!

Hello VJ family, I just found out that my lawyer's secretary never mailed my RFE that was summited in her office on 05/7. I showed up today at her office unexpectedly and she was surprise to see me, I informed her that I need my package tracking number because my case status hasn't change. Kathy(secretary)gave me a document showing a tracking number dated 4/29/2013. This tracking number was obviously not mine. I called Kathy to see when she would be able to provide me the correct date that she mailed off my documents and she said by the end of the day today- 5/28/2013. My concern is that I gathered everything that I needed in order for my documents to be mailed out by your office only to be misguided by your secretary. I understand the number of cases that your office has to work with, however, if your secretary was not able to mail it out on time, she should have informed me and I would have taken care of it myself. I need to know when my documents were sent off because not being able to send this information off to my congressman has affected me physically, mentally, and emotionally. I honestly believe that I have been getting the run around by your secretary. I feel as if she has lied to me about mailing off the documents. I need to know what is going on with my case immediately. I will be waiting for your response to this email.

Fire them and get back all your papers. Finish the process on your own with using VJ.
