Hello all! It's 7 months since we are waiting the spouse petition approval. Yesterday my husband got the letter from USCIS and they asking for my birth certificate. They schedules the appointment in 1.5 month to bring BC with him...I'm confused because this document I should provide after petition is approved and I take it with me for interview. Does anybody has have this experience?

We also got RFE 6 months after NOA1 requesting for a copy of my BC (beneficiary). 3-5 days after responding to the RFE, my husband received our NOA2. Hope this helps.. NOA2 might be on the way for you guys after you send it in..

Some USCIS local field offices will ask for the beneficiary's BC while most field offices dont..

Good luck! good.gif

Really?! I just e-mailed a scanned copy of my BC to my husband because my husband told me that we were only given 30 days to respond to the RFE..And the instruction was to mail it at USCIS local field office.. If your husband has an interview appointment at your local field office in July, that might be the reason to bring along your BC in July.. Maybe.. I'm not sure though..
