What timeline can I realistically expect?

Hi Guys,

My wife's F2A PD in June 30th 2011. The current PD is June 8th 2011. So we are pretty close to the priority date becoming current. Now she got her NOA2 on May 1st 2013, and I talked with NVC saying her application was received, and they will start processing in a week or two. So given this information what do you think we can realistically expect her visa to be issued. Her consulate is Montreal, Canada. Also one things she applied for Masters program in US which starts from Mid August, any chance the immigration will be done by that time? If not is there anyway he can fasten up the process?

No one can really predict when to get the visa. Whats important now is to get things done with NVC the quickest time you can. The VB moves fast recently because there are only few who are qualified for a visa number. Others are stuck in NVC while others still await for their approval.

You cannot do anything to make the process speed up but you can get everything done quick at NVC so once you complete your case you can be scheduled an interview soon.
