hmmm I wish I was wrong but as she says she just receive a temporary green card not the permanent one....if you check the qualification for citizenship it says permanent resident card... correct me again if im wrong thanks for the clarification if im wrong

I will tell you more: I received my unconditional card 2 days ago, and it says "Resident since" the same date that was on my conditional GC. This means, as others have stated, that you are a LPR from the date the conditional GC is approved, and from there you start counting the 3 years less 90 days upon which you can apply for citizenship. Also, this makes sense, otherwise a spouse of a US citizen would not be any different than any other permanent resident, having to wait 2 years of conditional GC + 3 years of unconditional GC. Then of course, you can wait as long as you want to file for naturalization, or never do it and live as a LPR.

Do you have a 2-year GC? I have, and I can tell you it says Permanent resident on it. Even if the status is conditional, it is a "permanent resident" one.

The "permanent" word is very relative... as no GC is valid indefinitely. It's either 2 or 10 years.

The 10-year GC is not valid indefinitely, but the status of an unconditional LPR is. It's like when your passport expires: you do not lose your citizenship, you just need to renew the document. Not so with the 2-year one, where you need to re-establish your status by means of the I-751.
