Hello everyone

how r u ? hope u all fine .. finaly i get interview date next month in cairo .. i wanna know what i need with me at the interview !! and if anyone here from egypt ! wanna know how much i have to pay in CIB bank for interview coz i tried to call embassy numbers it's out of service i don't know why is that .. thank u everyone .. god bless everyone with all this hard waiting ..!

- You need to read your interview Email letter and see what item that needed to be presented during the interview, in general you need your medical exams ( the sealed packet ), passport photos and all original documents that were previously submitted to the NVC as a copies. you need to bring all the original documents with you in another way.

- CIB Bank interview? You will have to pay for the DHL fees only and thats inside the embassy itself when they keep the beneficiary passport

yea there is fees i have to pay before interview in CIB Bank i think it's about 230 dollers bu i am not sure and i am trying to call embassy number thier number is out of service i dont know how coz this numbers can't be out of service .. plus DHL yea inside the embassy and medical and plus 165 dollers the new fees for uscis before i go to usa ! that's why i ask about the interview fees coz i am not sure about how much but i am sure i have to pay it before interview .. thanks for ur help ..

Mr.waiting .. that what i am sure from that i have to pay around 230 dollers at CIB Bank coz that what they wrote on embassy web site but not sure if that right and for my case as IR1 .. but if i have called CIB Bank told me everyone pay 1250 egyptian pound all is one and i don't belive that coz there is cases than otheres .. and i try to call embassy thier number out of service .. so i am not sure about what's goin on !!

i just don't understand how k1 pay 240 USD and IR1 as you and me not pay anything when they wrote in embassy web site i130 have to pay 230 USD that what make me confused and the problem embassy numbers not in service i don't know howcome but it's true .. thanks alot

For immigrant visas (such as an IR-1); fees related to the visa are paid to the NVC. A K1 visa is a non-immigrant visa so the procedures for it are different and any references to K1 procedures should be disregarded when a spousal visa is being pursued.

April 28, 2011: Received NOA1 via text/email, file routed to CSC (priority date April 25th)
April 29, 2011: Updated
May 3, 2011: Received NOA1 hardcopy in mail
July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

July 23, 2025:  Filed N-400 online
