Hello So I just received an email from the Embassy in Tunisa for my fiancé packet 3 and what forms to email back and what forms to bring . they also said to bring $350.00 US dollars for visa . Has the fee gone up I thought it was $240.00 for the visa fee... just wondering

yes my friend the fees have gone up. even for me ir1/cr1 there are new fees that have to be paid once the visa is issued.

huh.pngNO! The information they send you from the Embassy in Tunisia is wrong. The fee is $240, we verified that with them. That's what my fiancé paid and he just arrived 2 weeks ago. Perhaps the fee is different for CR1 but for K1 it's $240.

that is what i mean, for every visa class the fees have gone up. when you think you have all fees paid, there is another one behind everything. i think for my class it is 2 of them. one at the embassy and another online before my husband gets his greencard for cr1 class.

The fees for the fiancé visa actually went down. We didn't have to pay the added fee like CR1 because fiancé visas are classed as non-immigrant and no green card is issued until after AOS is done in the U.S. We paid JUST the $240 at the Embassy & that was it. The additional cost comes later with AOS which CR1's don't have to do.

Yes thank you I sent them an email and they verified that they sent me the wrong fee info...
