G-325A Forms: Is it okay if the beneficiary dated and signed the letter in January 2013, but we're only completing our petition now May 2013?

Hi!

I'm the beneficiary and working with my fiance to complete our petition together. (He set me up on his printer on the cloud).

I shipped over some documents to him last January 2013, but we're only getting back to our documentation work now this May 2013, since we now have more time (I just completed graduate school).

Will the date on the G-325A that I shipped over be an issue since we plan to file by this month, but I signed it 5 months ago in January? Or do I have to ship new ones again with more recent dates?

My is the same case.. The letter of intent and G-325A were signed and dated on 03-20-2013 and applying now.. I also want suggestions.. What should I do apply with same forms??? Plz guide. Thanks..

As long as the form itself has not expired it should be fine. Double check the form you have with USCIS.

Alright. but what about the passport size pictrs? I had sent them also along with the forms to my fiancé.. Can those pics be used or ill hav to send new pics as they are mre then 30 days old

Do the passport photos have the dates on the back? My fiance's didn't. His were 29 days old when we mailed them off (and 32 days old by the date USCIS received it), but I can't see how USCIS would know that since they're not dated in any way. From what I've heard, it shouldn't matter much, but I can't promise as we're still waiting for our NOA2.

No the passport pic is not dated... But the issue is the forms will b dated as 3-20-2013 and pics 4-10-2013. So wont it make them think how come that difference? What if we use whitner to change the month?

I do NOT advise changing the month with white-out, NO. Either use the older form (that's not that long ago really!) or get an entirely new one, but don't attempt to change the date as that would look really suspicious.

Passport photos need to be within 6 months of the filing, if the photo is older than 6 months you would need to get a new one.

But as Lyn says - USCIS would not know if they are not dated, even if they were over 6 months and not dated, its likely you could still use the same photo unless you had plastic surgery or some horrific accident and you clearly do not look how you looked in the photo. (people generally do not change how they look drastically in 6 months of a photo being taken)

They look for US passport photo sizes. 2x2, I have seen some people submit other sizes and not get an RFE but have seen some submit other sizes and get RFE.

If its the wrong size and you can carefully cut it to 2x2 that works.
