will USCIS mail if I list my international address?

I am in Hong Kong right now and am planning for file the I-130. In case immigration sends me letters, follow-ups, notices, etc, is it okay for me to put my home address in Hong Kong? I can technically put down my parent's U.S address, but I'd rather get the documents myself and handle it directly.

Will they mail documentation internationally (since postage is higher)?

Check the uscis instructions.

I am not sure of what it says about international mailing. Maybe your best bet will be using the US address.

I live in Brazil and used my international address. I received my NoA1 and 2 in Brazil and my 130 was approved in two months presumably because I live abroad. Many people have been processed faster when using their foreign address. I sent my paperwork Nov. 2012 and I am not sure if they are still processing faster or not.

I listed my foreign address because there is a trend that people who file abroad get processed quicker. But, they used the return address on the envelope (my mom's USA address, she added the filing fee check) as my address. When I called to attempt to get it changed they told me they could not use international addresses. I had multiple people (tier 1 and 2) tell me that, even when I mentioned I knew people who used foreign addresses.

If you want to use your foreign address and are having your family forward it to USCIS, I highly suggest you leave the return address off the envelope.
