So I received the letter from NVC giving my wife an interview date of 6/17/2013 in ciudad Juarez. I know she's required to do her medical stuff in Ciudad Juarez and before that she needs her biometrics done via the ASC. I am confused because the Juarez Consulate requires her to go to http://mexico.usvisa-info.com/ and it says to log in and follow the instructions. So she logged in (Created and account, entered her DOB, Passport no, etc. So the account was created then she clicked on SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT then clicked IMMIGRANT VISA then there are several options to select from. That is where I am confused. There is the following:

+ FAMILY SPONSORED

If the applicant:

Is starting the process and would like to read information about this visa category, please select "Immigrant Starting the Process- Family-sponsored".

Received an appointment from the NVC, please select "Immigrant Schedule by NVC – Family-sponsored".

Has been asked to schedule an appointment by the Consular Section, please select "Immigrant Consulate Has Asked You to Schedule - Family-sponsored".

  • Immigrant Starting the Process - Family-sponsored
  • Immigrant Scheduled by NVC - Family - sponsored
  • Immigrant Consulate Has Asked You to Schedule - Family-sponsored

+ EMPLOYMENT BASED

+ NONIMMIGRANT VISA FOR FIANCE OF US CITIZEN (K-1, K-2)

+ NONIMMIGRANT VISA FOR SPOUSE OR US CITIZEN (K-3, K-4)

+ DIVERSTIY LOTTERY

+ IV ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING

Please select the category based on what is required of the applicant.

  • Immigrant Courier in Documents - IV Admin Processing
  • Immigrant Follow up Appointment - Immediate Family Sponsored
  • Immigrant Follow up Appointment - All Other Immigrant Visas

+ IMMEDIATE FAMILY -SPONSORED

  • Immigrant Starting the Process - Immediate Family-sponsored
  • Immigrant Scheduled by NVC - Immediate Family-sponsored
  • Immigrant Consulate Has Asked You to Scheduled - Immediate Family-sponsored

I am not sure which one to select. I highlighted the one I thought it would be but which one do I need to select and then which one from the sub menu??

Thanks for the help in advance...

There should be an option to sign up for just courier services. She shouldn't be selecting 'schedule an appointment' as she's already got the interview date scheduled by NVC.

Yes i understand about the appointment is already made for the interview at the US Consulate in Ciudad Juarez. But prior to going to the interview she needs her medicals (Which is done in Juarez 1 or 2 days prior to the interview) and she also needs her biometrics (fingerprints, etc). The biometrics are done via the ASC and it indicates in the paperwork emailed to me to schedule an appointment to do the biometrics via the website mentioned above then after that is done the paperwork says to designate where DHL will deliver those biometric (Which will be Juarez). But my confusion/question is what do I select from the above list to schedule that ASC appointment for her fingerprints (Biometrics)???

i know some people have done there biometric (Via ASC as required by the US Consulate) prior to goin to Juarez and i seen people do it in Juarez. I want my wife to do them prior to Juarez (In Guadalajara) that way things are not at a rush in Juarez.

I had the same issue. (I am the USC petitioner and my stepdaughter is the beneficiary). After receiving the letter with the appointment date, i went to the ASC website in an attempt to set up the asc appt. After creating an account was lost and had no idea where to go (pretty much what you're dealing now it seems). None of the information from the letter was there and everytime i tried to set up an appointment, it was like her info wasn't even in the system.

So I called the consulate in ciudad juarez (there's a 703 number - Viriginia) which you can call. They asked me the basics about her interview and assisted me in setting up the ASC appointment. no sweat :)

let me know if you need the number
