I took some time to chat with their office this morning and actually wound up telling the secretary a lot that she had no idea about! They haven't actually done any medicals yet for U.S. immigration but they are definitely open for business.

I gave her a bit of a surprise when I let her know that it would be VERY unfortunate to be sending people away and telling them they can come back a week later for their results! #######? I let her know that many people are traveling from afar to do this and would like to be able to get results back in 24-48 hours like the other offices.

She said they haven't actually done any yet but the prices are the same as Seiden:

$300 for adults

$150 for 15 & younger

They are accepting appointments at any time right now. I know at Seiden's they book you in for a date but that it is first-come, first-served and only between the specific hours each morning so for most of us that is very inconvenient. I suggested to her that if they allow people to have actual appointments it would be very helpful.

I told her about our message board and that it was the reason I was asking so many questions. She was grateful to hear feedback from me and an explanation of how our process works as we make our way to Montreal for interview and the other details of the steps we take. They are currently doing medicals for people coming to Canada and for Canadians going to Australia but obviously their process would be different.

I just thought I would share this for those of you who have to book medicals soon.

The fact that they are just starting to do the medicals AND had no idea that we'd like to get our results back within days is enough to deter me from going to them. I think I'll just stick with the ones downtown who have been doing this for a while.

That would be my choice as well for "safety's sake" if I were in your shoes. HOWEVER, it is literally a 5 minute walk from my house so would probably have been MY choice if they were available at the time of mine. I just would have made sure I had the time to wait for the results which would have been OK since I'm in the area.

I just would have made sure I had the time to wait for the results which would have been OK since I'm in the area.

The Scarborough location is about 10-15 drive away from me, I'd go there but the secretary I spoke with didn't seem to know anything at all. They actually put me on hold for over 10 minutes at first. I'm not in a rush to get my results but I'd feel more at ease with an office that's been doing it for some time.

Might as well make it a trip to go downtown and enjoy my day afterwards hehe

I would like to do mine in Ontario then pop up to Montreal. A Monday appt makes it harder to get results. I'm pretty much stuck somewhere for a weekend.
